  Honestly, if I lived in Tazewell, I'd probably give the place 5 stars. You know, they ain't got much up on that end of highway 33. But, being from North Knoxville, the Duke is pretty cultured and has been exposed to some finer establishments. Me, Steve and Austin was up doing some work for Sapphire's old ass papaw, and stopped by to get some milkshakes. Me and Steve got chocolate, cause we're men, and Austin got a strawberry, cause well, he's just not. Picked up a Ham sandwich with an extra dollop of mayo, too, for the ride back down 33. I mean they are practically giving it away anyway for only $2.06. Outstanding prices and good quality.

  A great place for custard (soft serve ice cream) after a day at the lake. Never had their food, but the place looks nice enough. It's super cheap, tasty, and fast. I recommend the ice cream for sure. You can also order from you car and they'll deliver it to you there!

  Can someone 'PLEASE" train these folks on food handling. I literally watched the same lady who was taking orders & also handling money, get "MY" order of fries & put the entire palm of her hand on them to prevent them from falling out of the container. BTW, I was there for approximately half an hour & she done this multiple times & never once washed her hands! Has she no knowledge of how "FILTHY" the money she handles really is??? The fish sandwich was mediocre at best but maybe it was because I was so put out by how she handled "MY" food. What I didn't understand was the other 3 girls that were working & ALL of them had on gloves??? TIP: "LET THEM HANDLE THE FOOD!" A little common sense goes a looong waaay! Definitely made 2 trips in 1!

  Nice mom and pop local freeze. Driving through the area and wanted something quick, local, easy and
  cheap. They checked off all the boxes. Nothing healthy here, but that wasn't on our road trip menu anyway.
  
  We ordered at the counter and waited about five minutes for our food. You can see the kitchen through the glass, which is nice. It was clean. We sat at a counter facing the parking lot. They have 8 or so booths and tables outside, as well as 4 counter seats. My bf had a chili dog with onions and was pleased. I had a fried fish sandwich with lettuce and tartar. It wasn't too big and just the right size. It was fried golden brown and very good for a fast food fish sandwich.
  
  Food was good and inexpensive. Staff was nice. Love supporting a local mom and pop. Very good performance for its category and price point. Only deduction was for a little bit of TLC that the place needed and a bit more attention to the restrooms (not horrible, but could've been better). Would stop again for the fish sandwich alone.

  Food is pretty good.  I go there every couple months or so.  The people are super rude though... just unfriendly.  And the place is generally messy.
  
  Burgers are good though, so it's a decent trade if I'm in a good enough mood to deal with rude folks.
